Congratulations on your Mark 7. Maybe you'll let me push a piece of mesquite through like Mike did that piece of oak. What did you chose for the bonus - dust collector of band saw?
I already have bandsaw and DC. I opted for the prize behind door number three:D Lathe chisels, faceplates, router and shaper arbors and bits, insert/fence. drill bits, and the "premium" casters.
He said he has been telling purchasers about two weeks but he had a call from someone in Mesa that ordered at the demo there and it had showed up already.

He'd put a used car salesman to shame.
True, got the same vibe regarding the used car thing. However, once we got past the full on pitch, he was able to go off into other details/tips/history which was really fun.

Off topic but related to Lowe's, while at one of the local Lowe's today, asked about discounts for veterans. She said we must show our VA card or other veteran ID before they starting ringing up the order. Also, I think she said it is 10%. Will try to remember for the future, will save me a lot of money.

So, veterans, you've earned it, cash it in.

I see absolutely no way that they could have denied you, Captain. If she accepts you, how can Lowes do anything but.
Thank you both for your service to this country.

Thank you Dusty. I hung up the uniform a few years ago and now work for the Corps as a civilian engineer helping make sure the Marines get the gear they need. All I can say is she must have been blinded by the Blues - I married way over my head!
So, did you make it home from the demo with your blank check intact? Did you buy anything?

I bought breakfast and enjoyed the demo - so much so in fact that I watched it again. The PowerPro is an amazing machine, a great improvement over all that preceded it.
No, I did not order my PowerPro, yet. There will be one in my shop one of these days but not just now.
