A bit after the fact!:D

Yesterday I had opportunity to visit with Jan at Shopsmith customer service. I explained the various discussions we have posted regarding the Mark 7 upgrade. I suggested I feel as thought they may be missing the boat regarding marketing the full description and advantages. She plans to visit the discussion and perhaps convince the powers of including a better description and more pictures.

Oh yes I also requested they print a new catalog. Would you believe they are still working from the fathers Day 2008 catalog?! There is no chance they can or will spend dollars for a new one. However there will be a flier mailed out soon illustrating new products and prices. Jim

BET there catalog is well worn by now.

Too bad they aren't still using 2008 prices too.

I got a new mini-catalog from Shopsmith last night in the US Mail. This has all the recent stuff like the PowerPro, the Mark 7, the ceramic sanding disks, etc.

Looked at the Mark 7 Double Tilt: I guess if you go to Drill Press Mode, you pretty much need to remove the Bandsaw?

Thats correct. The SPT mount now moves with the way tubes. The benefit is that in theory you should be able to properly align an end table to work on both ends. The down side is you can't leave the bandsaw or jointer in place when going to drill press mode.
