I haven't deleted any posts, in fact used some of the ones with the larger images as my test cases (to make sure they displayed scaled to fit). The limit is 1920x1080 and 2mb. I'm still concerned that 2mb images will display slowly on mobile devices.I haven't yet found a reasonable answer to images not being displayed inline in older posts. Closest so far was testing an [attach] bbcode, but that still required bringing the post up for edit to activate it for each post (and then displayed the image a 2nd time at the end), so I abandoned that approach. Looks like I need to chase down how the code that is stored in the database for an inline attachment is created, so that I can run a php program based on it against all the old posts.
