iaokie, if I had not just gone back to work and trying to get my head above water that ER with the speedchanger would already be in my garage beside the other ones there.

I should update my signature as well. I am down to 3 Shopsmiths after stripping down the Mark V11. The Greenie is standing strong and the 1979 Mark V is in pieces as my parts spare. Something breaks I can dip into the pile

Missing Trunnion

So we did a MacGyver welding fix[ATTACH]14174[/ATTACH]
Should work until I can get an original one[ATTACH]14175[/ATTACH]

That is not easy to weld. Small parts tend to vaporize!:eek:

Yes thats what my specialty is Heli-Arc Welding
It does come in handy for many projects which seen to be growing daily
Kinda wish I'd been working with wood inplace of metal the past 36 years:D
