They are like the L. L. Bean Main hunting boots, rubber bottoms and leather uppers. That pair is from Cabela's however. Also they are not high top but low just like a regular shoe.

I am getting closer. Got the aux table top done today except for the fence rail. It is soaking in Evaporust. So the only thing left is the main table top and it's fence rail.

Almost there. I got the main table top almost done. I want to work on the top surface a little more. I also need to get a piece of PVC pipe to soak the fence bar in Evaporust. I also just realized I don't have a blade guard. I know I have a couple with the other machines in the garage. I will use one of them for this machine and see how many I am missing. They come up on eBay all the time.

I used one a while back to test clean/polish a section of 10ER table, and that test section went just fine.
I finally got some Naylox wheels and cup brushes in the shop. I used them on the table after glass blasting it. They work very well and I think I like them better than wire. I did the top of the table with a RO sander with a 320 grit SS ceramic disk. That worked well. The issue is still the best way to get the black residue completely off the table. Since I did not use any polishing compound maybe a good scrub with soap and water will do it.

Yes :D :D :D Look back through the thread and you will see it. It was a new full up head stock that I bought a Lowe's just before Christmas in 2010 (I think maybe 2011). The demonstrator was Dave Folkerth. We had a good time talking about SS and the 10ER. He went out to his car and brought in a bunch of original 8 X 10 black and white photos from SS adds including the one of Danny Thomas with the SS. It was way cool.

Well I was off a bit on the date. The date on the head stick is 8 Jan 13 so it was Dec 2012 when I bought it.

John, a quick question if I may, what do you use for paint on your ER restorations? They look amazing!!
