The one on my 1993 500 is exactly .25" . My blade lines up at about center of the slot.

Final Post on the subject (I Hope)
I changed out the 1-1/2 bumper with a 1-3/8 bumper and my blade is now just a LITTLE right of center (I did not measure) for the first time. Next time I align the table I will recenter the blade and we will call it a day on this issue. (Last table alignment I moved table all the way to one side in attempt to center the blade. Now I can take advantage of the larger trunnion holes when positioning my table.)
To summarize the entire post:
1. Bad quill bearing. Replaced quill.
2. Defective rear table trunnion related to hole size. Replaced trunnion.
3. Bumper too wide. Changing from a 1-1/2 to a 1-3/8 "centered" the blade.
All is well in my shop now.
