There are two Shopsmiths in this ad, the really rusty Goldie, plus a nice, disassembled, 10er (with speed changer ) that doesn't have a base.

Of course it can recover with a little TLC. Here is one of my 1952 10ER's.

OK, given enough time, and a large hammer, you CAN destroy
a Model 10. Given 10 minutes, and a small hammer, you CAN
destroy a Mark 5.
