This thread "was" marginally interesting at the start but has ran its course and degraded to generating a full scale lack of interest to me.
After some further thought I am simply not in the market for such a device and unless I run across one at a garage sale for a few bucks (yes that really happens) I will not own one. I can see where it would be beneficial for some in the way they work and especially for some that just have a hard time guiding a saw or new to it, just not for me personally.
I think I will now go see if I can stir any further activity in the thread about shop storage. Now that is interesting stuff...

I did not equip with Shopsmiths in spite of the setups but because of them.
