I was curious too why it hasn't sold yet, so contacted the seller. I suggested he open the boxes and take pictures. He apparently doesn't want to open boxes until he has a buyer. He says he used to work at Shopsmith and purchased these at an auction. He thinks they may be from the mid 1980's. If NOS from that era, I told him it could possibly be a 500, 505, or a 510. He said no model number or serial number on outside of box. He also said the banded box is typical of the way the new units were packed when he worked there. (If I remember correctly, my 1980 Mark V did not have banding and a "lid" like his)

If someone in the vicinity is interested, you might get a real good deal, especially if it is a 510.
