I recall someone saying they bought a 520 with band saw as a result of a posting. So that's at least one time!

Typically the ones I usually go for are already gone. I try and post for others though. I do enjoy seeing the deals around the country however

I have bought things a couple of times that were listed here.
One I had already found myself and ignored, then re-read here and made the commitment to go get it.
Another, I bought a Mark 5 (500), and a Band Saw out of Oklahoma for $50 a couple of years ago. I was travelling and within 50 miles of Oklahoma City at the time.
The guy was so nice when I got there, and told him where I had come from nearby, and was about to return to Lubbock, he just gave it all to me.
Timing, and proximity are the most important elements to all of us I suspect.

I have purchased at least one as a result of an ebay listing posted here. I also purchased three others together after seeing another CL ad where I wouldn't have been looking but for the ad here.
