Shopsmith ER - $100 Near Boulder Co.
Has a speed changer off the machine in pictures. Looks clean.
I have bought some good units out of Colorado. Minimal if any rust.

I've got a disc that looks like this one,
and it's NOT conical. Spherical. I'd
say, about a 5 foot radius, but that
is a guess.
Oh, Sterling has a conical disc, for
his Model 10.

A 5 foot radius? That makes a 10 foot diameter! What do you use it on? My SS Mk 7 only has a 12 inch diameter sanding disk and can only utilize at most about a 16 inch diameter disk.

I'm just imagining that mounted (ignoring the tubes getting in the way) and someone pushing a giant block past it with. Not to mention wondering where you would get a 10' tall spherical piece of sand paper. It's like a mad woodworkers laboratory... Just need some Tesla coils and maybe babe the blue ox to complete the scene.

OK, a 5 foot radius, just talks about the shape of this.
The sanding disc is about 10 inches in diameter. And,
it is not flat. It is not conical either.
It is thick enough, that I can make a conical disc
out of it.
And, I can't even remember which Model 10
it came with.

OK, a 'section' of a 10 foot sphere with I assume an arbor adapter.
Gee a pix would help understanding what you are babbling about.
