Yes, it's an early Mk VII.

steve
10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Is that an over arm pin router to the right in the second picture?

Only one picture, not much of a description, but might be a good buy for someone near NW California.
EDIT: Changed price in post title, since CL ad has been changed so that price listed in ad title is now $75, not $40, even though tag in picture still says $40. If in decent shape, could still be a bargain at $75. Have sent a reply to seller asking for more pictures, more description about condition, etc.

It looks like it. It reminds me of a picture from an ad for a 510 and OPR from Jan. Maybe he sold the OPR and still needs to sell the 510.

The VII is a steal considering it's excellent condition(it all appears to be there including stuff that typically isn't).

I did get a reply from seller, who says the price change in ad was in response to low-ball offers. He also offered the following information about its condition:

"...The story on the planer is as follows. It is operational. The blades are in fair condition. It has a motorized feed . The bad news is that it is put together backwards. I bought my shopsmith along with the accessories from a guy in Redding. The feed motor has a sticker from a shop in Redding that works on Shopsmiths sometimes. Nobody knows why its put together backwards. There are two problems with backwards operation (feeding boards into the out shoot ). If you want to use dust collection, the dust collection port is in the wrong place. Also there is a special tool for adjusting the blades. It cannot be used with things put together backwards. Another problem is the the feed roller doesn’t seem to have enough traction to move the boards all the way through without some assistance. Other than all that it works great. Seriously you can use it to plane boards and the last time I put new blades in I didn’t have any trouble adjusting blade height..."

I asked again for more pictures in order to understand how it could be put together backwards, but so far nothing received and no change to ad. I suppose if feed motor and cutter head were installed backwards, that would explain it, but why would someone do that? If it could be done, then I suppose it could be un-done. And if so, it may still be a good buy for someone willing to put in the effort.
