I can't afford it, but here it is. The infamous 4E jointer mounting plate. With a jointer, of course.

That is a very decent price except for the shipping. He wants $96 shipping. I have had two shipped to me and both were right around $30.

I'll be taking a trip from northern Michigan to Pittsburgh for a wedding this summer, so I've been checking for CL Shopsmith listings along the way. Surprisingly I've seen several (3-4) 10ERs with the jointer headrest, with or without the jointer or other parts, and people don't know what it is. I think if I were selling something I'd check out its value first. It's also difficult to get people to respond with better pictures.

That is a very decent price except for the shipping. He wants $96 shipping. I have had two shipped to me and both were right around $30.
Shipping says $58 now. Wonder if it's flat rate or calculated?

It's still showing $58.15 for me. From New York. It does not indicate that it's calculating it by my zip code, but I am logged into the eBay app on my phone while viewing.

It shows $199.99 when I looked at it just now and "Local Pickup Offered" with no shipping costs.

Weird. It's never shown any different for me. I check it through a browser not logged in and it still says $58.15. I never saw the $90 either.

This has been my view from the eBay app since I shared it. Lower down it says from Webster, NY. I wonder if it's using my phone location to do calculated shipping instead of flat rate.Image
