Then I learn that the Administrations' report that the manufacturing numbers (unemployed in manufacturing) is looking better but not because manufacturing is hiring more. The number is getting better because construction and manufacturing workers are giving up their jobs in the trades to work elsewhere.

I agree that experienced people have left the trades, but that ignores the puppies that are coming in behind them. As far as hiring, I know guys at a lot of different manufacturers and only one that survived the recession has not been adding jobs every year since. The labor pool we draw from is back to where it was pre-recession, just younger and less experienced. Which will get better with time.

I know right now, I can drive 50 miles in either direction on the interstate and find at least 20 factories with open positions.

Having a wife and children is costly. Apart from having to get a bigger place, one also has to give them and get insurance for them in the event they get sick. The yearly survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation discovered that the price of family health insurance is also increasing, though the boost this year was modest when compared with last year.

Being single with no kids is even more costly! We have very good insurance at work and I pay $30 a paycheck. The most expensive family coverage is $100. So $140 extra a month...the extra income taxes I pay dwarf that.

I heard Russ Limbaugh being interviewed on some program last night and he was asked for his analyst of Detroit.

He summarized it be a perfect example of what the democratic party produces. He then listed numerous things that contributed to the Detroits demise. It was sad but I think he was right.

The key word is "mandatory".
Obamacare is by definition socialism. It is also anti-American, un-American, unconstitutional (NO, the Supreme Court is NOT the final arbiter of constitutionality), illegal, purely partisan, and unworkable.
Insurance is a CHOICE if it will not be socialism.

When it comes to someone like Hussein Obama- a liberal, progressive, socialist, Marxist, communist traitor- one should not be playing games with semantics. By strict dictionary definition, no one is anything.

He probably was right. He usually is. But what I find most fascinating about Rush Limbaugh is that whether right or wrong in his opinions (Key Word "opinions") he has never, repeat NEVER been caught lying. America haters have been trying for decades to catch him at it, and failed completely.

Funny- a great measure of his credibility these days is the amount of time the Liar in Chief spends complaining about him. Next to vacations and lying about obamacare it is what he seems to spend the most time on.

That doesn't actually bother me. What bothers me about him is that he loudly and repeatedly said drug addicts should be executed. That continued until he was until he was arrested on felony narcotic charges

Yes, there are openings. But are they hiring to fill those openings.
