I'm just thankful that I have finally gotten past machine language and am no longer ham strung by 64K of memory and that darned acoustic modem. The cat was forever knocking the handset out of the cradle. Reconnecting to the main frame at 300 baud was absolutely nerve racking.:(

Well, I think I've written my last database for anyone. Did them in DBase II and III and III+, then on to Access, Visual Basic and Oracle. Oracle was very similar in structure to DBase (XBase) language. The terms were simple and quick. It didn't putter around like VB and other Microsoft stuff. It also used a very basic SQL but terribly expensive. Did my last of that in 2003. Retired to play with my Shopsmith as long as my time will last. ;)
