Branding Iron

This is the Branding Iron I used to apply my name. I had to remove the date attachment so I could 'rock' the brand to get a good transfer of heat. I will add the date later. Lesson learned: I found that by recessing the bottom on some of my smaller bowls it was difficult to flatten the bottom with the drum sander.

"Fools name and faces . . . . ".
Seriously that looks very nicely done. I hope the recipients appreciate the effort!;)

Don't take this the wrong way, Fred, but I think you need an intervention! I have never seen so many bowls!

I have a full time job and participate in radio controlled sailboat races all over the country and play several characters in World of Warcraft in my spare time when not making bowls

I try to keep busy.

You've got a lot more energy than I do. I admire the workmanship and the output. Both are impressive. Even more so when you point out that you are working full time and have other hobbies.

I've been playing almost daily since it came out 8 years ago. I have almost 200,000 kills. I play it because I read somewhere it keeps your brain active and that's a good thing. Yes, when it first came out under the original ranking formula which required you to play daily or lose rank, I was playing at least 8 hours a day after work and 22 hours a day on weekends and holidays to maintain my rank of Lt. General. This lasted for 3 years.

It was an addiction for millions worldwide, lot's of kids flunked out of college. Now I only devote 2 hours a night to the game.

You might remember 40 player raids then!
You might enjoy these:
When undead stratholme used to be a 10 player dungeon...we did it with 5 at the time.
http://youtu.be/LXE5oqG_qoo (I'm the rogue in the ninja suit)
Server first (Horde side) clearing Molten Core. Trying to get 40 GOOD players together at the same time willing to spend 3-4 hours straight playing was very tough. Anyone does anything wrong...you all die
http://youtu.be/OOAzHs1iLPo
Server first (Horde side) clearing Blackwing Lair (40 player again, but much much harder). First boss fight...complete chaos:

YouTube pulled the music for "copyright" as if it was being sold...
Send me a PM if you are interested and I'll link you some more videos
