Congrats on a fantastic looking tool. I had a chance to look at a Mark 7 demo the other week and I was impressed. I don't know if I'd upgrade the Mark V 500 I have because it was my Dad's, but the demo was something to watch.
Let us know what you think of it once you have it home and assembled.

Welcome aboard! Congrats on the win. I am new here too. I bought a 1980's Model 500 In late February. I am new to woodworking and to the shopsmith world. This group is great and very supportive of members. Enjoy the new toy and post lots of pictures.

I really, really, need to stop over there at Hartville Hardware. I live less then 30 mins away!

I live 4 hrs away in Cincinnati and been there twice.
