I'll throw my two cents in and says the Pro Planer. Ahh, it is a thing of beauty. The stand..the powered feed...the cast iron. While I could never justify paying money for a new one, the used one I got was reasonably priced with all the current upgrades.

Also, I like the larger tables of the 510. My personal opinion only, but I would have skipped buying the 500 first.

And last the jointer was a nice addition to the collection. Wish it was a little bit bigger, but it is one hefty piece of equipment.

Lot's of great suggestions but #1 on my list was a jointer. Can compromise and make homemade things such as table extensions, featherboards, sleds, jigs, etc. but for the jointer.

Bandsaw, Bandsaw, Bandsaw.

I went for years without one of these (Read my whole life). I truly do not know how I got by without it. well, actually, I do working in the shop is so much more enjoyable now.

Wow, that's almost like buying a car without a radio. I use my crosscut sled as a jig to hold my pen blanks in place during drilling. I use the same setup to press the pen parts together using a block against the fence and adjustable stop. So I find I can't live without the sled.
