Hi Jim,
glad to hear you have signed up for my classes in Tulsa. I think you will find them filled with useful information that will allow you to leave with confidence that you can tackle any project on your Mark V. As far as what to bring, I can see that you already have what you need, enthusiasm.
See you there,
Shopsmith Traveling Academy Instructor

As many of you know, I am at present the only Traveling Academy Instructor left standing. I'm sorry to say that the farthest East that I am currently scheduled to go to is Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. I do understand that in the future I will be sent East to specific areas that are good markets for us. All I can say to you folks back East is to keep in touch with SS and let them know that I am also needed in your area. Always remember that we have other programs from Nicks Online, to the new U tube sight and also the National Academy in Dayton. Good Luck
Traveling Academy Instructor,

It would be more correct, Rick, to say that you are the only traveling instructor. Shopsmith has three instructors on staff -- myself, yourself, and Drew Achtermann. In point of fact, over 10% of Shopsmith's present staff is devoted to woodworking education.
With all good wishes,

Let me see if I understand.
Rick covers California, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Kansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico as the traveling representative of the educational effort for Shopsmith.
At the same time, Nick and Drew do the rest because they are the only ones left.
Question: What is Nick's schedule for his share of the other 39 states???

It's not quite 39 states, Dusty. Rick covers Alaska, too. And I think Hawaii is still up for grabs. Interested?

Oh yes, I am definitely interested. But I can't accept the offer for reasons of physical limitations.]soon[/B] able to put other instructors on the road. The other 38 or 37 or 36 (whatever) states must have as many woodworkers that are wanting to attend as does Nevada and New Mexico and Arizona.Nick wrote:It's not quite 39 states, Dusty.
