Jim, I do not believe you have stated anything that was incorrect. I have no doubt that the pain is impacting your well being but I don't believe iot has impacted your thinking.fjimp wrote:I confess that pain sometimes clouds my thinking. I am hoping that the shoulder replacement next Wednesday will relieve that pain and allow me to make more complete and reasonable statements. I have decided to allow my bride to read my posts so I can delete inappropriate responses. If that doesn't work I likely not take part until my thinking is clearer. Perhaps I should say that my shoulder joint has deteriorated to a point where the arm is out of the socket more often than in place. Thus pain is my companion 24 hours a day. Jim
Truth of situation being I am not allowed pain medication beginning last Tuesday until after surgery. Your kindness and good wishes are appreciated. Now the medications that you are taking for the pain may be a different story. My wife and kids all tell me that I was "in a different world" back when I was doing the medications for my knee pain.
Good luck with the surgery. We'll have you in our prayers here until we hear that you are back to normal.
