Global Warming? What you talking about:p Excuse me a minute, I have to go turn on the air conditioner, I'm working up a sweat in my workshop today turning bowls. :D It's 81 outside today here in The Woodlands Texas.

Hey Fred,

When we lived in Houston, my golf group started one year getting out on the course just about sun up 13 weekends in a row. Not bad for winter. Was pretty nippy a couple of times. It's warm down there.

We had something like a 36 hours streak with below zero readings back towards the start of this thread. That's not uncommon on up north, but here in southern MN it has been 4 years since we had negatives for our high. Cold here sometimes....

I think we tend to forget years past.
When we moved to Florida in 79 my two daughters swam everyday.

Even though the weather has been fairly warm this year the pool water is way to cool to swim in it.

Like wise I remember a few days of snow here in Florida with freezing temperatures that killed the citrus business north of I 4. A business that had existed for 50 years and now does not exist. My home sits on the site of an orange grove, when I bought it we had 27 orange and grapefruit trees. They have all fozen and have been dug out.
