Also besides the weather, there was the Super Bowl. Which fedex claims caused delays in delivery.

I think you could just fit both things in your truck bed. The weight of the Mk 7 is a "duesy," though, probably over 250 lbs.

Not concerned about the weight so much, at 55 I can lift that. As a funeral director I have learned how to transfer much more that that! Once picked up a used outboard motor weighing in at close to 350 lbs by myself... Now that was stupid!~

If the M7 box will not fit front to back, it should fit at an angle. Got my DC used so no clue about the box size but should fit as a passenger

If you wait until Monday you will miss the WHOLE weekend to get to know your knew toy!! Go get it and enjoy!! Though drive safely and carefully!!

You did say that lifting is not a problem, but I would have a friend help you unload it. If you decide to tip it upside down to install the legs I would presume that a friend would be a huge help. I just set mine on saw horses to install the legs, but an extra set of hands would have been a help.

I picked my new M7 at lowe's a while back, and it will fit in a 6' bed (that is what I have. They loaded it with a fork lift.

When I got home, I opened the box and unloaded it in pieces. No problem...

Thinking of all the things that can go wrong with your intended venture to get the thing with your pickup truck it is really best to wait. Getting stuck in PA is just one of the aspects of MURPHY'S LAW

Thousands of $$ at stake!

If you just wait for Fed EX to deliver, you can avoid any and all of the things that could go bad that could be your fault. If bad stuff happens to Fed EX, it doesn't happen to you. All you could lose is time and mental stress. Shopsmith and Fed Ex are insured and will cover any losses/damage that may occur. I know Shopsmith is good for replacements and they can settle with Fed Ex, if needed.

Please wait.! After final delivery, it will be only a day or two for you to forget about this frustration that is clearly caused by weather.
