We need to be cautious when reading/listening to folks stating things about band saws. The SS band saw is unique and much does not apply to it. Blade position, tension, tracking, wheel alignment, back up bearings are the areas of difference.
The blade 'guide' bearings are unique to the SS bandsaw(upper rear and lower front).
