Well $400.00 later, it is what it is, rough grey, dual bearing quill, made in 85, original owner, he up grade to a 510.

Congrats on the new addition. Now's the time to clean it up, lube it, then align it.

No clean up needed, thank god, I have 3 pieces, ( table saw, jointer, and the greenie) in various degrees of redo at the moment, but all should be done in a week. Greenie will be dedicated to the garage for belt and disc sanding, lathe work, drilling in summer, along with my stand alone stuff. The new one into the basement for my "winter shop" with its jointer and band saw.

How about that. It is exactly what it was advertised to be by the serial number chart. Congratulations. I am sure you'll be pleased.
Follow all of Beeg's advice to help that along. Now all you need is oil, wax and some clean rags and some elbow grease.

Yes it was. His mistake about 1983 when he purchased it.
