forgot to mention, back in the 80's they put a connection to Alzheimer patients having higher concentrations of aluminum in there brain and/or body, then people without Alzheimer. The human body does not dissipate aluminum. I threw out all the aluminum cook ware, only cast iron and SS. I dont drink much soda, maybe, at most 10 a year, and most at BK, which is out of a "gun", I dont drink much beer, and only from tap or bottle. Nothing ingested here from an aluminum vessel.

You guys sure know how to hijack a thread. Wow. I almost thought this was going to be about my restoration for a minute.

Not to be a jerk, but this machine was my late grandfather-in-law's and I have family checking this thread to see how I'm honoring his gift and legacy, so if you comments aren't related to the restoration, I'd ask that you put then in a PM or another thread. Thanks.

sorry did not know this was a dedicated thread to a restoration, title is a bit ambiguous for that.

That's more than fair. You're right, the title isn't really suited for a restoration only. I apologize for lashing out, and I'll make another more appropriate thread.
