The reply to post is at the bottom of the post.
The QUOTE a topic is at the top.
Yes, I agree the placement of options is certainly messed up.
I plan to replace some of the important choices with buttons to replace the links and fix the arrangement at that time.

The software update is very welcomed!
I'm not crazy about the theme or style modifications, though. As a couple examples, I can't find the "View New Posts" link, and the reply/quote link being at the top of each message instead of the bottom is not intuitive.
As a workaround, in the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, I changed my setting for board style to prosilver. Although the color scheme is not "Shopsmith" colors, I like this style much better..

For me this is going to take a little getting used to. But I guess change is a part of life.

Seems as though I'm going to have to fix the username difference between Shopsmith.COM and Shopsmith.NET.
Now after I click on "Submit". I DON'T know WHERE I'll windup, use to be in the same thread, at the bottom of reply's

So after clicking on "Submit" it took me back where I was. BUT said an update was made and may want to revise my reply. Just clicked on "Submit" again.
OKAY, this time it went back to the thread. I'd STILL like to see more than 10 posts on a page.

After I hit MARK FORUMS READ and then hit VIEW NEW POSTS. It shows the posts that I have read.

The two choices are confusing and hopefully someone will suggest a better ways to present them.
The "view new posts" option display posts since your last log-in. The "view unread posts" shows posts you haven't read (which can include posts prior to your last login that remain unread and excludes even new posts that you have already read). Marking posts read changes one, but not the other.
Leaving the site, but neither logging-out nor closing your browser (not just the tab) has been reported on other sites as not resetting your last login time.

A disturbing(to me) new 'feature' is the lack of attachments displayed within the text as originally created.
Makes much of what I have created less than comprehensible.

Apparently it
is possible to
put them within the text. A bit of extra unwanted stuff comes along with the pix.
color???
The current limit is 1200 x 800
Apparently one cannot do them all at once like the previous version.
Is there a different limit now?
This will definitely take considerable getting used to as is.
