Absolutely this is a great buy - besides the fact the machine includes the speed changer and I noticed many items in the boxes worthwhile (drill press vice, etc.).
The collection of quality lathe tools itself is a huge plus.
Add the jigsaw and figure in the optional base legs with castors ..........
Many will mention guys prefer the heavier ER model for lathe work and that is where you are wanting the machine for mainly - but its there for the other functions also, if needed.
Its even visually in what looks like very good overall condition. Even if you had some simple bearings to replace, a belt, etc.
