It would seem you would get better, quicker answers if you weren't asking questions about your computer on a woodworking site.

Just what would you suggest belongs in the "Community" section? I could go for "Politics", "Religion", "RV Renovation" or "Wine Making".

You can talk about your knitting if you want. I was just trying to point you to someplace where experts would be more likely to hang out that could help.

Actually, I have received some very good advise regarding my computer problems right here on this "woodworking" forum; some times better than that received from the two technical forums that I visit. The tech guys all seem to want to impress you with their gaming skills and equipment. I am a simple computer user. I do NO gaming.

Yeah, those young pups can get a little uppity. I play a game on my iPhone, but I don't obsess over games like the Xbox generation. Heck, I have a coworker that watches videos of other people playing. Go figure.

I have put off installing W10, mainly from what I've been hearing.
Both from here, and the few (Overclockers Forums, and others)
other fora I hang out at.
Most everyone agrees with JPG, but a few are MORE paranoid.
(If that is even possible.

)
I'm stickin' with W7, until I must switch. (Yes, I do have a free
HDD, and may play with W10 on it.) No, not switching my main
stuff, until I must, unless I'm REALLY impressed.

Dusty, we agree!
And, I'm somewhat of a computer (well, hardware, mostly) Geek!

I upgraded last week, so far so good. We'll have to wait and see. I liked Windows 7', but hated 8. 10 is more like 7. I drank the Kool Aid and took the free upgrade. Just hope my teeth don't fall out!
