My parts finally arrived and I'm ready to get this puppy up and running. First problem, how do I remove the old spacer. I can't figure out how to get the old one out and I don't see any instructions.

Thanks!

Remove the fan sheave(after removing the spring/after removing the retaining clip etc).

The set screw on the fan sheave will be VERY tight. Do the same when reinstalling it.

Begin at the 8 min point. http://www.shopsmithacademy.com/SS_Arch ... rn_Pt2.htm

After getting to the 12 min point condition on yours, the set screw for the fan sheave is accessed through that hole in the louvre.

Those sheaves can be stubborn to remove. Penetrating oil etc. helps. Sometimes a bit of increasing dead blows will help.
