Walmart sells something very similar called a tent light over in the sporting section. Didn't get to examine it much my wife told me I was done shopping and to meet her by check out

I got dragged around Walmart yesterday looking for gifts for the grandkids. Not my idea of fun. I would rather shop with my fingers at home. Men and women are different. Someone told me that once.

Women go to 'shop'(slowly wander around looking for something to look at).

Men typically go to purchase, then leave(sometimes looking at something else).

I resent that. I believe it depends on the store. I bet you could spend hours at the local lumber yard or woodworking store, just like I can. My husband spends hours shopping in cooking stores. At most stores, my husband wanders the store looking at things, I just want to finish up and leave.

That is the problem with 'general' statements. There are exceptions.

I agree with both, but mainly I think men go and purchase, more then go and shop, now sometimes I will shop too but at a store I am in to purchase something. I did go to Best Buy to look at a couple things yesterday but not to buy them, it was also to get out of the house from mom for a bit too.

Not that it matters but I was out shopping all by myself when I found this. I often do that especially when I want to wonder about the store and just take my time and enjoy seeing and remembering what they have. This store is maybe 45 minutes away unless they decide to improve the roadway which they are now doing.... then depending on traffic it gets father away time wise. So when I go to get an item, in this case some paint I don't like to just grab the paint and heading home. I shop around and in this case found the light. Had I not done that then this whole thread would not exist, or at least not as one of my threads.

I also stopped for a walk at a forest preserve on the way home so I make an adventure out of it. The wife got time off from me and I'm sure she enjoyed that too.

Right now I'm setting up for a major hole drilling time. I hope this works as well as I think it will. Lots and lots of holes.
