Keys can get dinged so I always run all four edges across a flat file a few times until it is smooth. Light touch will remove the dings only.

Ever run across this? I got the new control sheave assembly and the design has changed slightly from my year so they said I needed I new eccentric bushing (which is true). The problem that I'm running into is that the new eccentric bushing is way smaller than my original and thus is too small for the casing slot. See pic.

Wow! That's a big difference. Looks like you need to call the MS (Mother Ship).

Did they include the spacer that is supposed to keep the new style bearings separated?

No spacer included. Just the new eccentric bearing. I'll be calling them on Monday...gotta love waiting 2 weeks for them to actually get you the part just to find out you need something else. *sigh*wa2crk wrote:Did they include the spacer that is supposed to keep the new style bearings separated?

I probably shouldn't use abbreviations. I sometimes have a hard time deciphering some of them myself. It took a long time figuring out what EDC was on some of my shooting forums.
