Well according to the 10CST news, the winning ticket and there was one so far came out of CA, I think a suburb of LA. Well maybe one of us got the runner up pick.

The Poor people tax worked again, the coffers of government got filled once more!
Three winners Calif., Tenn., Florida.

I won big time, my state got lots of money, I didn't stand in line and I still have $2 in my pocket.

Heard an interesting insight if you were unhappy before winning you will be unhappy after.
If you are happy before winning you will probably be happy after. It is money not happiness.

Ya Ed it is pretty much proven, that nothing will make an unhappy person happy, and vise versa!!! ;)

So I saw/read somewhere, about the DUMB blankity, blank women that started a GoFundME page to raise money, because her family was broke because she spent all her money on power ball tickets. She was asking everyone to donate $1 so she could play the lottery? Said she actually raised $800 before the page was taken down. Oh good grief!!!!! Give me a break!! Dumb people donating to another dumb person. What's this world coming to??

Over the past 3 decades we have been "'dumbing down"' everything in this country, it started in the school system, and now up to are Police Depts, who get overly criticized by the very people they try to protect.

I TOTALY agree! However, why was the page taken down? GoFundMe policy? If she didn't lie or deceive anyone as to the reason for asking for money so what. The people that gave the $800 are more stupid than the person that asked for the money.

Don't discount the possibility it was a hoax, and that's why it was taken down. Grifters are nothing new.

Grifters? Never heard of them. By the way, could everybody on the Forum send me $10 so I can pay for an operation for Tiny Tim?

I would have if you asked for the 10$ for a Power Pro, but for TT, no way, ask Scrooge for him. :D
