I had seen the CL ad up for a while, but I didn't spot the lower saw guard or the speed changer until two days ago. And then I dawdled. A classic case of snooze & lose. :o :(

I did finally answer if there was ever an OEM lower saw guard for the 10ER.

Answer YES.

I also found something else I had never seen for a 10ER .... a lower belt guard.

And of course .... the coveted speed changer....

OK, guys, I've only seen THAT picture.

I firmly believe that Hans made 2 or 3 of them,
just to keep us interested.

Most people I know, have an upper guard, sitting
in the parts bin, just so it won't get hurt.

I've got 2 or 3, and I'll post after I install one.
(Haven't yet.)

I updated the post with another view. Wards sold them. No clue how many original were sold or might still be out there though.
