sehast wrote:Everett, thanks for the great procedure and explanation. Since the flatness of the MDF (.018"/ft) is an integral part of your process and most dial indicators measure to .001", what reading variances should be acceptable during your procedure?
Let me add some context to better position my evaluation process and my objectives. I am sorry this is going to be longer, and I have to respect the length of the post by putting this in a PDF.

I sometimes get frustrated with my tablet, I edited the document and recreated the PDF twice uploading it, with the corrected error not being remedied.
I wrote a document recently citing the John Burch Society in a quotation. The tablet did not like Burch, opting for Birch. I had to add the word. Now, no matter what I have tried, when I edit the Baltic Burch Plywood in the PDF to correct it to Birch, the screen reflects the change, and then reverts to Burch.... I assure you I know it is Birch! LOL

That is a problem with letting a spell 'checker' be a spell 'corrector'.
Give a machine too much control and we are all in trouble!!!
Think BORG!

I actually liked one of them!

I actually liked two: 7 of 9 and Ernest.
There was someone who wanted him to appear in the series in a cameo, as 9 of 9 and his line reportedly would have been: I am 9 of 9, but you may call me Ernest.
Sadly, they never were able to bring that about. It would have been funny to most of us.
RIP Ernest Borgnine

I liked 'Earnest' in the "crazy race who only spoke in terms of history" episode.

I'm certainly a fan of 7 of 9, but I really like Icheb (the oldest of the Borg children on Voyager), and One was interesting, as well!
