Interesting grain! I really should start expanding my use of different woods for pens. Maybe get one of those grab bag deals except they are not normally marked as to what wood is what wood.

Desk pen and stand made from my scrap leftover from the "Banana Gallows". I wanted to do something different and this turned :rolleyes: out to be a fun project. It made me think of a kubotan. I'm not sure it would be strong enough though.

Is there a kit for this or did you make it up?

I really like the block holder to finish the look off.

Thank you very much, Ed! I made it up. I did use the tubes, nib, twist mechanism and refill out of a Soft Grip kit.

As I was sanding the pen I thought of the holder. You are right. It just finishes the look.
