Very nice work, Dave! You asked "How do I make this vertical?" Guessing you're referencing the photo.

The trick is to make the photo come in landscape rather than portrait.
Prior to uploading the photo - display the picture in your computer and crop the top and bottom until it meets the maximum standards shown as you upload. You may have to rotate your camera 90 degrees and back away. Then you can crop the sides a bit.

I have another one that I am turning magic wands from some rounds that someone gave to me. I hope to have them completed by the time school starts. I hope to see no detached fingers or cuts from our projects.

That looks great! I assume that is some kind of swinging love seat contraption underneath?

I apologize for not showing the swing. I had to crop it so much. Will take another photo tomorrow to show the entire setting. Thanks, Dick for pointing out what I overlooked.

'Resize' rather than 'crop'. ;)

JPG, as always you are right. You will see that the detail is greatly lost to those of us who have high mileage eyes. But, here is a picture that shows most of it. He still have to put down paver stones. He'll get it this week, but I am now on the porch railing.

Very nice. :)
I like the way the ropes are fastened too, so often I see porch swing plans and they run the ropes through holes in the arms.

Well, setting a shop at moms, I picked this wood working bench on CL, shaky as all get out, took it apart, a made in china with straight legs to the floor, put these on, half lap joints and some screws and glue, more screws in the right joints, rock solid now.
