I did do some ground school but never had the money to actually fly and it has been so many years now that I would have to start all over as I remember very little of it. Not seeing that happening for me either. I think I still have the information but see little time to spend finding it much less studying it again.

I did fly control line planes in my youth, and have thought about getting a drone but so far I seem to find too many other things that need my attention and money. I'd love to do some photography from that perspective even more then the flying....

Ya know, Ed, I know a couple of seriously wealthy retired guys that seem to spend a lot of time fighting boredom. And I think that you are much richer than they are. To me, its way more gratifying to make/create stuff than it is to buy stuff. Unless you're buying stuff with which to make stuff, of course.

For what it is worth, I have been a pilot for 26 years, owned 4 airplanes over the years (one almost exactly like the one in the video) and I would fly off that trailer in a heartbeat. (I have done worse LOL).

One of the best gifts I ever gave myself, flying. My wife enjoyed it as well as it let us do things (travel and see places) we couldn't do otherwise while we were working. It is expensive and I quit flying a few years ago, kind of self grounded myself.

Got my many hours of paper airplane flight time beat.
