I actually still have all pieces and parts in the shop so I'll try and "re-create" it tomorrow. It's Really quite simple.
Has anyone ever used Applied Industrial Technologies for bearings and the likes? I have one very close to me but I'm not sure if it's a "retail" place. I have all the old bearings I need new of, and I'd like to just walk in, hand over the old bearings and get handed new ones instead of searching all over the interweb.

I have one near me, they sell retail, some things they have, some have to be ordered.

Question about the bearings that came out of my Powr-Kraft 1/2hp motor on the 10ER. I think it was the "front" one, on the spindle, was a Fafnir 203KTT. Easy enough to search on line and look up the size and prices from other brands. But the "rear" one, in the back housing was a weird one. It's a Federal FS8503. I couldn't find a definitive size or match online to look up other brands. All I came up with was the number 8503 but it seems to very alot. I don't have any calipers so I can't accurately measure it. Does anyone have any info on the bearing? Or should I buy some calipers to get the exact measurements and then look that way.

Id have to say yes. Without exact measurements I can't say 100%. But The size of the bearing does look like it matches the sizes listed. Very cool! I must not have been looking right if you found it that quick..

The dimensions listed have me confused. Width having more than one dimension. Is the bearing flanged?

Red, I forgot to take a pic of my bearing but here is a pic of a Fafnir 203KL, which is on the list Skizzity posted as a replacement for the FS8503. If I recall correctly (at work), this bearing looks the same as mine. I was confused also with the 3 different width measurements. The site posted is in Inches for the width's, but other sites when searched for the bearing had Metric measurements. Also different sites would have a different width measurement. Say one site would have the overall width listed, a different one would list just the "outer or inner" width. Very confusing.

'Typically' the inner race has a slightly smaller 'width' than the outer race. An additional width dimension is what I do not understand.
