Nope, not even postage if you use the IRS free file and fillable forms. Not even a trip to the PO.

I believe I heard yesterday on the radio that we should not rush to do our taxes. That Trump was expected to make changes to the tax code that would effect our 2016 taxes. They also said if you get a letter from the IRS you should not panic because collection laws were also being changed. I will try to find the particulars.

Has anyone gotten their 1099 from Social Security yet? That is the only one I am missing.

Hmmm... I don't remember getting it. I will have to look through my documents. That is the only one I don't get electronically. I guess I should check the web site.

It is my lucky day. I got my last 1099 so I can finish up the taxes and forget about it for another year.

Note to IRS----The check is in the mail. (I'm not putting all my personal information on another site on the internet.) There is far too much fraud with electronic filing.

I did not get my 1099 for social security yet so you are not alone. What I did get was the notice that with the copa increase and increase on Medicare I was getting a zip raise. I thought it was my 1099 until I looked again today.

Thanks guys. I will keep waiting. I have my taxes done by a CPA and I usually don't turn them in to him until the beginning of March.
