Having a dedicated table saw is a must for me. But having multiple tools allows me to leave tools set up for specific purposes and saves so much time. I leave one SS set up permanently in TS mode with a cutoff sled mounted on it which is something I use very frequently. That same SS also has a router table mounted on it and the jointer. I have a dedicated router table but on many projects having two router tables really helps. I guess my point is that although one can have dedicated stand alone tools having the ability to have more than one of any tool really is nice. The SS allows me to have those secondary tools is a compact package.
