I have to be real careful this season though. Due to medical limitations, I was not out in the sun most of last year. I am as white as snow. Sunburn will come real easy. Will have to limit outdoor activities to mornings and early afternoons.

The big storm was a non-event here in Central Indiana with maybe a thin inch of snow on the grass. There was still enough heat in the ground to melt it off of pavement. They are calling for lows about 18 tonight and tomorrow night, I'll have to plug the horse tank heaters back in for a couple of days. We have about 4,500 watts of heaters running. They have thermostats that turn them on below about 40 to 45 degrees but I watch the weather and unplug them unless it is going below about 28 at night. Saves a bit of $.

Hey Dusty, much like you I was out in the sun less due to medical issues and also since we don't have the sun levels that you do our GP found in some blood work that I was "down a quart" on vitamin D... She had me start taking an additional over the counter supplement. Looking at the weather predictions for the rest of March here it doesn't look like I will be tanning much. Lots of clouds. :)
