For those Windows 10 users who like to not share their application information/behaviors, you will want to take the time to go through the privacy settings of Windows 10 and turn everything off.
By default, your information is shared with Microsoft and 3rd party companies.

The information shared is behavior and not personal information, such as, how often you use applications, where you search, your general location, etc.

Just thought I would share for those new to or not familiar with Windows 10.

When I got home I discovered the tablet doing an update. It took most of the morning to finish but it is done. I don't recognize there being anything different but there must be. The security updates were many.

My only frustration with Sketchup comes when I attempt to create drawings with the stylus (no mouse). An example of my dilemma: When I draw a line and want to set the length by typing in a number I have no way to effect a "right click". If I utilize a wireless mouse, everything works well.
Dusty,
I share your frustrations with Sketch-up. That is the reason I seldom use the touch screen capabilities on my laptop. By the way this is not just limited to Sketch-up. I have found that most drawing programs I use have this same problem - Aspire, DeltaCad, etc. Just means you have to use the mouse and keyboard or at least have it available for some operations. The good news is at least with Surface Pro you have the capability to do this.

Steve
Thank you, Steve.

I am no longer frustrated with my Tablet/Sketchup; not because it is fixed but because I have decided that I will probably never want to do Sketchup with a stylus. With that concession, the Tablet works well and Sketchup works with the Tablet and a wireless keyboard and mouse. The Tablet also works well with an external display (computer monitor or large TV).

No more frustration.

Thank you, FozzyBear. This was a vital tip for me. I made several security related changes.

If you really don't know, start by doing a Google search for "Privacy Options, Windows 10".

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... windows-10

If that doesn't do the trick try here: https://www.google.com/search?q=privacy ... =utf-8
