Just curious if these are Shopsmith's you purchased or just wondering about.

If you have any questions about any of the 4 Model 10's you listed, I have restored ones close to those serial numbers.

I own all 4 of those model 10’s. I have just never pinned down what years they were, although I had a fairly rough idea. The 10e was my grandfathers and I fully restored it years ago. He purchased it from Montgomery Ward in Napa, Ca. Two of the 10er’s I acquired over the years and fully restored with one of them being a dedicated sanding station (yes, I am lucky enough to own several A and B adapters and driver pulleys). My most recent acquisition is R42104. This particular machine was owned by a gentleman named France Rode who was a Slovenian engineer that worked for Hewlett-Packard and invented the first pocket calculator, the HP-35 and subsequently the HP-80 back in the early 1970’s. I am an engineer/attorney myself (and own that HP-35 calculator as well as several others) and was thrilled when I showed up to his 92 year old widow’s house in Silicon Valley, Ca and realized who the owner was. She and I chatted for hours and explained how sentimental this particular machine was to her. I assured her It would be in good hands and am beginning to restore it. As an engineer, I truly admire these machines and absolutely enjoy using them. From reading your posts over the years, I am certain you feel the same way. Thanks for all the information you provide and time you spend doing just that, there are many like myself that benefit from it.
