:eek: :eek: :eek: Not meant at you personally Bob, but I can't imagine why if someone tries to move something and it doesn't move why one would keep cranking until something broke. I think Ron figured that out before he broke his table raiser arm.

I did, but I think it is a fairly common brake.

PS Skip Campbell , MKCtools, makes a welded steel replacement arm for the 10ER table raiser. :cool:

Mine was welded about 60 yrs ago.

Thanks again for all the advice. I have never actually used the table saw option, but t I have the parts to manually raise it like the one in the picture posted by jsburger.
