Methinks it has to be YOUR map to get the "edit" function. i.e. you cannot edit someone elses map. MY GUESS!dachsieslave wrote:You have to sign in to see the edit. The "sign in" is in the upper right corner.
Sorry my first contribution to the forum is going so badly:(

Same here I have to sign in and then I can use the map and find my address, in fact too much it even goes to a picture of it from the street, but It will not allow me to edit the original map to add me to it.
Thanks

I'm in. not my house, but a building that I once spent much time in.
not sure what I'm missing but I could not change the default symbol.
it would let me add other symbols on top of the original and, if I clicked on one, it would drag and copy it. I finally backed out and started over.
I was also surprised to see that I could edit anyone else's entry. I noticed that by accident when I was trying to fix mine and navycop's 2nd entry with the anchor showed up. when I clicked on it, it opened the edit window because I was already in that mode. (please note: "could" not "did" edit. I was careful when I saw the mode I was in.)
so... how do I change the symbol? or would someone who gets it like to change mine to the wrench?
Ivan
