As you can see here ctrl-a works, but one MUST click once inside to select all WITHIN the box.

Don't be concerned with getting off subject - Some of the most informative stuff has been in the "side" conversations. The problem is - these off topic info. is hard to find at a later date, if not saved elsewhere by a user.

BTW - To add a different method to have multiple quotes - Use the Tab feature of Google and bring up the Forum on several different tabs. That way you can alternate between different posts and different parts of the Forum. My problem here is - I sometimes get lost between tabs.

I was going to bring that up as well but for the same reason you brought it it can get a bit detailed and confusing so I left it simple. but it is a way that i work a lot and I use the browser tabs to open up different windows of the same thread and then hit quote button on each cutting out the quote from the text box and pasting it in the next tab then repeating the process over and over until i am done and have all quotes in the same text box.

CTRL-A = SELECT ALL
CTRL-C = COPY
CTRL-V = PASTE

I AM not A 'WORD' PEOPLE. I never do 'word processing'. I have always used an 'editor' more suited for manipulating computer source code. I never liked the 'word' set of 'manipulators' nor how it behaves at other times(tabs and returns).

Unfortunately (for me) the rest of the world has learned to put up with it(they have never been exposed to any alternative).:)

I am sorry if these were NOT the kind of buttons you were 'thinking' of!:D
