Tango,

As a retired Army major I want to welcome you to this forum and thank you for your service.
Back in the early 90's I was company commander in Bremerhaven, but the the battalion headquearters was in Belguim. Your posting brought back good memories for me.
I have some moving nightmares from my time in, but that's old news. On your next move you may want to disassemble the SS. Al least that whay they will have to put the pieces and parts in boxes that they will have to carry rather than drag.

Thanks again,

Ron

Ron advise may very well be good but I, fortunately, had very good experience with the movers. I never once dismantle the Mark V or any of my other Shopsmith gear.

Now, having said that, the Shopsmith equipment never transferred overseas - which may be an entirely different situation than any of my stateside moves.

A any rate, again I would like to welcome you to the forum. There is an abundance of information here and it is all available for the asking.
