Well the recliner worked well last night and wiil be used again tonight. The surgery went well. It took about twice as long as expected. They say I had a new tear and damaged much of what had been repaired two years ago. They sent us home with color before and after shots. No I won't post them. The hard part is desiring to continue servicing my new jewel. Everytime I feel decent I do something that reminds me how bad I feel. The next two days will be interesting. We are having carpet installed in the entire house. Thanks again for the prayers and kind thoughts. fjimp

Jim-- I sure hope this takes. I actually have an audible pop, like knuckles, when I try to raise my arm and rotate at the shoulder. Both sides. So, I'll keep track of your progress. If I roll onto my side in the night, they awaken me immediately. Good luck. Mike T. (overall, reviews of the SandFlee are quite good-I have a Jet Performax 10-20 and a 16" pretty nice homebuilt drum sander-I am making a 24" from the same plans and a 24" long 6061 T6, 4" diameter 1/4" wall seamless tube. The SandFlee is scored very high on dust control-that is why I am interested; my other two are not great on that)

Woah,

Why are you putting off getting that taken care of. My first tear was nearly 30 years ago. Back then they didn't fix such injuries. Your symptoms sound like what I lived with all these years. Part of my original injury can never be repaired because I waited too long. You deserve quality of life just like the folks who live and work around you. Pleaaasseee look into repair you will never be sorry. fjimp

510 is now a 520

Post by fjimp »

Well I am still not allowed to make sawdust. This shoulder sling thing cramps my style. Yesterday the ladies had a tea party at church. Two of my friends came by to supervise me (keep me out of trouble). The day before I had received a box of parts to help me rehab my 510. Thanks to Bill Mayo for the shipment. My buddies helped me convert my new baby to a 520. Although a year older than the original it shines and runs a pretty as it's newer associate which is under the cover behind the new one. I am attaching pictures from two angles. Before you ask there is no rust anywhere on this baby. The tubes look dark due to the flash on my wife's camera. fjimp:D:)
