That's "normal." They will show up in your outbox until opened by the addressee. Counter-intuitive and illogical, but normal.
They will remain 'stuck' until the recipient reads them.

update - as all here expected, after making corrections to my table installation, the dimensional aspects of my cuts improved.
I will share a tip that may help someone from giving up on the table install when shims and\or washers are needed. The back two bolts are exceedingly difficult to start and hold any shims in place given the 45 degree working angle and space limitations. I found that a short piece of painters tape across the side of the trunnion bracket (not on top where the table mounts but on the downside of the trunnion where the shims\washers side off while one struggles to start the bolt) will hold the shims in place until the bolt is started. Then it is easy to pull the tape and finish the install. This tape idea likely saved my band saw table from an unscheduled flight across the garage because, as you know, those shims never remain where they fall but rather find the most inconvenient place to roll under ....all the way back to the wall.
I continue to be amazed at Shopsmith tools, and just how well designed they really are. I have had a bandsaw kicking around here for years, but never used it because I have a 14” bandsaw with a riser block, and Carter guides. The first time I used the Shopsmith bandsaw I fell in love with it. It works better than my big one. Adjusting everything is the key to success. Happy woodworking!
