I believe I have solved the problem with your help. Thanks

I loosened the bolts holding the bench tubes and the sets screws holding the way tubes and took a mallet and tapped the base until the way tube and bench tubes were at there stops and then tighten them in place. You can see the results in the picture above. This also solved another problem that I had and learned to live with and that was the left leg drug on the floor when the wheels were suppose to have lifted the leg off the floor.
Thanks again

I stand corrected. When I measured the angle it was only 5 degrees, Which is 95 degree from normal position. See photo
95degree.jpeg
When I add shims it back to 90 degrees. (see photos)

The locking screw - that holds the machine in the upright position , when at 90 degrees no longer aligns, so the machine is not stable. Looking for a way to make the unit more stable. Locking screw I am discussing is middle of picture on left side of the machine. see photoLocking Screw.jpeg
Just asking has anyone else had this problem and if so how did they resolve the issue with the over rotation.
Thanks for your comments.
old post. i know its weird, but try loosening the mounting bolts on the headstock and realign the entire unit while it's in the vertical position. Once you have it aligned where it sits naturally at 90 degrees, retighten the bolts securely. This should lock the headstock into the correct position and may prevent the over-rotation without needing to add shims.
